🔌 Function

Carries coolant between the radiator/cooling package and engine while supporting the specified hose routing.

🛠️ Service Notes

• Renew the O-rings, seals, gaskets and clamps that seal the pipe rather than reusing them; most leaks after a pipe change come from a reused seal
• Offer the pipe up and get both ends aligned before tightening anything — pulling a rigid pipe into place strains the connections and cracks flanges and fittings
• Check the bore for scale, corrosion and debris and clean the mating faces on both components before assembly
• Refit every support bracket, clip and piece of insulation; an unsupported pipe fatigues at its joints from engine vibration
• Refill and vent the system, then leak check the joints and check them again after the first run up to working temperature
