  • Volvo Penta TAD765VE
  • Volvo Penta TAD764VE
  • Volvo Penta TAD763VE

⚙️ Key Features

  • Support bracket for the cooling fan and belt protector assembly
  • Locates the guard at the correct stand-off from the rotating pulleys
  • 0.12 kg
  • Listed for six TAD series applications

🔌 Function

Holds the belt guard at its set stand-off from the fan and accessory drive pulleys, keeping the guard clear of rotating parts while leaving service access.

⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

  • Guard rattling, buzzing or contacting a pulley or belt
  • Rub marks or bright polished patches on the inside of the guard
  • Bracket cracked or bent out of its set stand-off
  • Fasteners working loose and the holes worn oval
  • Belt showing edge damage where the guard has been pushed into it

🛠️ Service Notes

  • Turn the engine over by hand after fitting and check clearance all round before running up
  • A bent bracket usually means the guard has already touched something - check the belt and pulleys before refitting
