🔌 Function
Supports the fuel hose connection and overflow valve on the engine, holding the hose runs at their designed radius so the joints carry no load of their own.

- Fuel weeping at the hose connection or at the overflow valve
- Hose rubbing on a bracket edge or on adjacent hardware
- Assembly loose, or able to be rocked by hand
- Cracks radiating from a mounting hole
- Hard starting or uneven running where air is entering a slack joint
