Heavy-gauge power cable used in the D11 engine starting or electrical-distribution circuit. The cable is assembled with marine/industrial terminals, protective insulation and the conductor area required for high current with minimal voltage drop.

🛠️ Service Notes

• Isolate the battery before disconnecting or routing power cable, and make the battery connection last when refitting
• Keep the run clear of hot surfaces, moving parts and sharp edges, sleeve or grommet it where it passes through a bulkhead, and clamp it along its length so it cannot chafe or swing
• Make up terminations with the correct crimping tool and seal them against moisture; clean the stud and terminal faces to bright metal before assembly
• Tighten terminal nuts firmly without crushing the lug, then protect the finished connection against salt-laden air
• Route power cable away from sensitive signal and sensor wiring where practical, and never leave a length lying in the bilge
