🔌 Function

Carries the top of the exhaust muffler, holding the silencer at its designed height so the exhaust bellows and pipework are not left to support its weight.

  • Rattle or a knock from the exhaust that follows engine load
  • Cracks at the welds or around the fixing holes
  • Exhaust leak or soot staining at the joints either side of the silencer
  • Heat discolouration and distortion of the bracket itself
