🔌 Function
Closes and finishes the panel opening left when a sailboat throttle and shift control is upgraded, carrying the new control on the existing cut-out.

- Old cut-out showing beyond the edge of the plate
- Plate loose or lifting at a corner
- Corrosion staining or pitting on the stainless face
- Fixing holes not lining up with the panel
- Water tracking behind the plate and into the panel
🛠️ Service Notes
- Measure the existing cut-out before ordering - the small 100 x 121 mm plate takes the separate upgrade 22688044
- If the existing control mechanism is kept, minor modifications are needed to fit this stainless steel plate, and the installation instructions detail them
- Bed the plate down on sealant and check the control moves through its full travel in both directions before closing the job up
- Mechanism 851601 is the one listed for the stainless steel cover plate
- Minor modifications to a retained control mechanism may be needed to fit the new stainless steel cover plate, as detailed in the supplied installation instructions
- 853713 is the equivalent large cover plate in black plastic, and it takes mechanism 1140095
