The kit extends the drive housing and splined connection while preserving shaft alignment, bearing preload and water sealing.
⚠️ Common Signs of Failure
- Extension housing or splined sleeve is damaged
- Water or lubricant leaks at the extension joint
- Incorrect shimming causes noise or end play
- Fastener threads or sealing faces are damaged
- Drive height must be changed using the approved Volvo installation
