🔌 Function

Secures and aligns the radiator package while isolating cooling-module vibration and thermal movement.

⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

  • Radiator or cooler package visibly leaning or moving on its mounts
  • Boom or heavy rattle from the cooling module at certain engine speeds
  • Cracked welds or fractures around the anchorage fixing points
  • Rubber isolators found crushed, split or squeezed out of position
  • Coolant hoses chafed or split where the package has been moving against them

🛠️ Service Notes

  • Renew the rubber isolators with the anchorage; a new anchorage on collapsed mounts will crack again
  • At 11.285 kg the anchorage must be supported before the last fixings are removed
