22179192 Wiring Harness | Genuine Volvo Penta Part

🔧 Product Description

Dedicated wiring harness at schematic key 19 in the TAD1150-TAD1152VE inlet and exhaust system. It connects the electrically controlled throttle/mixing-chamber components and is routed with the charge-air hardware.

🚤 Compatibility

Typically suits:

• Volvo Penta TAD1170-72VE
• Volvo Penta TAD1150-52VE

• Engine Family: TAD

⚙️ Key Features

• Factory connector keying, pin allocation and branch lengths
• Wire gauges and shielding matched to the assigned circuits
• Protective sleeving designed for engine heat, oil and vibration
• Correct breakout points prevent strain at sensors and actuators
• Product number, serial number and control-system generation must match

🔌 Function

Carries power and control signals to the inlet-system throttle and related monitored components.

⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

• Throttle or mixing-chamber fault codes that appear intermittently
• The fault changing when the loom or its connector is moved by hand
• Insulation hardened or scorched where the harness runs with the charge-air hardware
• Corroded or moisture-contaminated pins at either connector
• Terminals loose in the housing, so the circuit reads open under vibration

🛠️ Service Notes

• Check the throttle unit and its earth before replacing the harness, since the actuator itself is the more common failure
• Refit the harness to its original standoffs so it is not resting on the charge-air pipework
