🔧 Product Description

Heavy-duty clamp used at schematic keys 13 and 18 in the TAD761VE radiator and charge-air-cooler installation. It applies uniform compression to the large cooling hose and resists pressure pulsation, heat and engine vibration.

🔌 Function

Secures the reinforced hose to the radiator, pipe or cooler bead and maintains a pressure-tight joint.

🛠️ Service Notes

• Match the clamp to the hose outside diameter so the band closes well within its working range rather than at the very end of its travel
• Position it over the spigot behind the bead or barb, with the screw where a driver or spanner can still reach it once everything is refitted
• Tighten to seal, not to crush — an over-tightened worm-drive clamp cuts into soft hose and starts the leak you were trying to stop
• Renew clamps when a hose is changed rather than reusing them, and keep band, housing and screw all marine-grade stainless so the clamp does not corrode against itself
• Where two clamps are fitted to one connection, stagger the screw heads and recheck both after the first running period
