Gear-driven high-pressure fuel pump for TAD570VE-B and TAD571VE-B common-rail engines. It integrates with the pressure-control valve and supplies accurately metered fuel to the rail.

🔌 Function

Compresses and meters diesel fuel to the common rail at the pressure commanded by the ECU.

  • Low rail pressure and no-start/derate

  • Rough running, smoke or reduced power

🛠️ Service Notes

  • Work clean: cap the pipes and ports as they come off and keep dirt out of the fuel side, since contamination is the commonest reason a new pump has a short life
  • Renew the sealing rings, gaskets and any drive or pushrod parts specified for the job, and check the drive and the mounting face for wear before the pump goes on
  • Establish why the old pump failed and fit new fuel filters at the same time — water or debris in the tank will take out the replacement too
  • Prime and bleed the system by the procedure for your engine before cranking, and do not run a diesel pump dry
  • Check every joint you disturbed for leaks with the engine running, and again once it has been up to temperature
