Moulded rubber collar joining the air-cleaner assembly to the intake connection on TAD11 industrial engines. It seals the intake path while absorbing engine movement and installation vibration.

🔌 Function
Forms a sealed flexible coupling between the air cleaner and intake pipe while isolating vibration.

🛠️ Service Notes
- Fit a new collar whenever the joint is disturbed — rubber takes a permanent set in service, and a reused collar will neither seal nor locate as it should
- Clean the collar's seating and check the groove or recess it sits in is free of scale, old rubber and damage before assembly
- Lubricate only where the workshop manual for your engine calls for it, and then with a rubber-safe lubricant or clean coolant; mineral grease and oil attack the rubber and leave it swollen and soft
- Ease the collar in by hand and check it is seated evenly all the way round, with no twists, pinched edges or trapped material, before the joint is drawn up
- Keep fuel, oil and solvents off the collar in service, and replace it if it is hardened, split, perished or swollen
