⚙️ Key Features

- Factory moulded bend profile
- Heavy-duty coolant hose construction
- Supported by bracket 22035419
- Matched to fan/cooling-package clearances
- Engine type: 11-litre 6-cylinder turbocharged industrial diesel
🔌 Function
Carries coolant through the cooling package while accommodating engine movement and thermal expansion.
⚠️ Common Signs of Failure
- Coolant leak
- Cracking or swelling
- Chafing at bracket
- Overheating from restricted flow
🛠️ Service Notes
- Fit hoses only to clean, sound spigots — take off old rubber, scale and corrosion, and renew the spigot or pipe if it is pitted, because no clamp will seal a rough sealing face
- Push the hose fully home so the clamp sits behind the bead or barb rather than over the end of the spigot, and fit new clamps whenever a hose is renewed
- Let the hose follow its natural bend with no kinks and no tension on either connection, clear of hot surfaces and moving parts, with chafe protection wherever it passes a bracket, edge or bulkhead
- Use the correct grade of hose for the duty, and clamp to the standard the installation demands — twin clamps are normal practice on seawater and fuel connections below the waterline
- Refill, vent and run the engine, then check every joint hot and cold and recheck the clamps after the first running period as the hose beds down
