🔌 Function

The cylinder head seals the combustion chambers and carries the valve, injector, coolant and lubrication passages required for combustion and gas exchange.

• Tighten in the stages, sequence and torque-plus-angle steps given in the workshop manual for your engine, with threads and faces prepared exactly as that manual specifies, and renew head bolts wherever it calls for it
• Refill and bleed the cooling system, then carry out any retightening or valve clearance recheck the manual requires after the first running period
