A calibrated genuine Volvo Penta oil dipstick for selected D13-series diesel engine lubrication systems. The blade length, stop position and minimum / maximum markings are matched to the specified dipstick tube and oil-sump arrangement, allowing an accurate engine-oil level check when used on the correct installation.

🔌 Function

🛠️ Service Notes

• Check the level with the boat at its normal attitude and by the method given in your engine's operator's manual, wiping the stick clean before taking the reading
• Seat it fully to its stop each time so the marks are read at the right depth, and check the top seal or grommet is sound so the tube stays sealed
• Use the dipstick specified for your engine — length and graduation are matched to that sump, so a near-fit reads high or low
• Replace a stick that is bent, worn smooth at the marks or corroded, and make sure its tube is unobstructed and properly clipped so it cannot vibrate
• Never rely on a single reading if the level looks wrong; wipe, reseat and read again before adding or draining oil
