🔌 Function

Carries fluid between two fixed points on the engine, its formed shape setting the route and its unions sealing each end.

⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

  • Weeping or dripping at either union
  • Pipe chafed, dented or rubbed thin against an adjacent part
  • Cracks at a bend or at the root of a fitting
  • Union nuts found loose, or the seats marked
  • Corrosion pitting or scale along the pipe run
