🔌 Function

Reads the engine's sensors and drives its actuators, running the engine to its programmed control strategy and reporting faults to the operator.

⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

• Warning lamps or fault codes with no fault found in the sensors or wiring
• Engine dropping to a limp or reduced-power mode without an obvious cause
• Intermittent stopping or refusal to start, often worse when hot or damp
• Communication lost between the unit and the display or diagnostic tool
• Corrosion, moisture or damaged pins found in the connectors

🛠️ Service Notes

• Plan for the software step, as the unit arrives without it and needs it loaded before the engine will run
