A 75W-90 gear oil for Volvo Penta drives. It lubricates the gears, bearings and shaft seals inside the drive unit, carries heat away from the tooth contact and holds the additive package that protects the gear faces under load.

⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

• Oil on the dipstick gone dark, or smelling burnt
• A creamy or milky emulsion, meaning water has found its way into the drive
• Metallic glitter on the dipstick, or paste on the drain plug magnet
• Whine or growl from the drive that rises and falls with load
• Level dropping between checks, which points at a seal rather than at the oil

🛠️ Service Notes

• Change the oil at the interval in the drive's service schedule and check the level again after the first hours running
• Milky oil means the drive has taken water - find and cure the seal before refilling
