A 75W-90 gear oil for Volvo Penta drives. It lubricates the gears, bearings and shaft seals inside the drive unit, carries heat away from the tooth contact and holds the additive package that protects the gear faces under load.

⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

• Drained oil coming out dark or smelling burnt
• Milky or creamy oil, which means water has entered the drive
• Bright metallic flake in the oil or on the drain plug magnet
• Gear noise from the drive that changes with load
• Repeated topping up needed between services

• A DPH at the 1.59:1 ratio and a DPG take the 75W-140 oil 22574246 instead, so check the drive plate first
• Match the pack to the drive's stated oil capacity - 22479647 is the 20 litre and 22479650 the 1 litre top-up
• Refill to the mark on the dipstick rather than to a nominal quantity, and re-check once the oil has settled
