⚙️ Key Features

  • Main filter
  • 1.182 kg
  • 53 applications across TAD and TWD series engines
  • Supersedes 20976003
  • Routine service item

🔌 Function

Takes the main filtration duty on the fuel supply, holding back the particles that would otherwise reach and damage the injection equipment.

⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

  • Power falling away under load, or the engine surging as it is asked for more fuel
  • Hesitation or hunting at higher speed that clears at idle
  • Hard starting and long cranking
  • Black smoke under load
  • The old element visibly dark, waxed or laden with debris at change

🛠️ Service Notes

  • Renew at the specified service interval rather than waiting for symptoms
  • Fill and prime the new filter before starting, and check for leaks at first running
  • If the element is heavily contaminated, look at the tank and the supply line rather than just fitting another filter
