🔌 Function

Adapts the new D1 engine's mounting points to the bed the old MD6 or MD7 sat on, holding it in line with the shaft through the new gearbox.

⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

• New engine's feet landing nowhere near the old bed's bolt pattern
• Engine cannot be aligned to the shaft within the range of the flexible mounts
• Bracket faces or mounting holes damaged or corroded on an earlier conversion
• Vibration and noise after a conversion put together from mixed hardware
• Fasteners from two different kits mixed, so the clamping load is wrong

🛠️ Service Notes

• The gearbox has to be replaced on this conversion
• The MD11C-D kit for the same new engines is 22567203, and the MD5A-B conversion has no kit at all - it needs tool 22340457 and bed modifications instead
• For these installations the gearbox needs to be replaced
