🛠️ Service Notes

• Supplied ready mixed - do not dilute it further
• Never mix the green coolant with the yellow VCS coolant; they carry different additive packages and are not compatible, so always use the type the engine was delivered with
• Drain and flush before changing coolant type rather than mixing
• Change coolant 'out of step' with the coolant filter if such is used
• Volvo Penta coolant (Green) must not be mixed with Volvo Penta coolant VCS-1 (Yellow) or VCS-2 (Orange) - refer to the operator's manual
• Volvo Penta provides two types of coolant, VCS-2 (orange) and coolant (green); they contain unique additives that are not compatible and should never be mixed. Always use the same type of Volvo Penta coolant that originally came with the engine
• Do not mix Volvo Penta coolant VCS (yellow) and Volvo Penta coolant (green). They are formulated for the specific requirements of different engine generations and contain unique additives that are not compatible
• Always use the same Volvo Penta coolant type that was originally delivered with the engine - refer to the operator's manual
• Concentrated coolant should be mixed with pure distilled or deionised water, mixed properly in a clean vessel before filling the cooling system
• Do not use tap water: it contains minerals that will form deposits inside the cooling system
• Mixing data for concentrated coolants: 40% gives anti-freeze protection to -25C, 50% to -35C, 60% to -46C
