⚙️ Key Features

• Hub from the Engine group
• 7.312 kg
• Listed for 22 TAD series engine applications
• Shares its fitment with flywheel 22834215 and flange 22833997 in the same assembly

🔌 Function

Locates and drives the component mounted on it, transferring torque from the flywheel assembly while keeping the driven part concentric with the crankshaft axis.

⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

• Vibration that rises and falls with engine speed
• Knock or shunt as drive is taken up or released
• Fretting and black dust around the bolted joint faces
• Bore or spigot worn, so the mating part is no longer a tight fit
• Cracks at a keyway, bolt hole or change of section found on strip-down

🛠️ Service Notes

• Check the flywheel 22834215 and flange 22833997 at the same time, as these three parts wear as a set
• Clean all fretting debris from the joint faces and fit new bolts rather than reusing them
• Check assembled run-out before recoupling, since a hub fitted on a dirty face will show as vibration

📦 Condition
