🔧 Product Description

Genuine Volvo Penta pipe from the Fuel System group, weighing 0.274 kg and listed for one TAD series engine application. It consolidates earlier references 22187191 and 21739051.

🚤 Compatibility

Typically suits:

• Volvo Penta TAD580-83VE

• Engine Family: TAD

⚙️ Key Features

• Pipe from the Fuel System group
• 0.274 kg
• Listed for one TAD series engine application
• Consolidates earlier references 22187191, catalogued as a fuel pipe, and 21739051, catalogued as a bracket

🔌 Function

Carries fuel along a formed route between two points in the fuel system, holding its shape so it clears the surrounding installation.

⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

• Smell of diesel or a wet trace around the pipe or its unions
• Air drawn into the fuel, giving hard starting or a loss of prime
• Pipe chafed bright, cracked or corroded at a bend or a support
• Union nuts found loose or their sealing faces damaged
• Mounting or bracketry cracked, leaving the pipe unsupported

🛠️ Service Notes

• It supersedes both a fuel pipe and a bracket, so check what arrives against what is coming off - the supply may differ from the two separate items it replaces
• Fit the pipe free of strain with its supports in place; a pipe pulled into position cracks at the bend later
• Bleed the fuel system and check for leaks with the engine running after fitting
