🔧 Product Description
Genuine Volvo Penta fuel pump from the Fuel System group, weighing 1.724 kg. It is the only fuel pump listed in this run, so there is no near-identical sibling here to confuse it with.
⚙️ Key Features
- Fuel System group
- 1.724 kg
- The only fuel pump listed in this run
🔌 Function
Draws fuel from the tank and delivers it onward at the pressure and flow the engine's fuel system is built around.
⚠️ Common Signs of Failure
- Hard starting, or long cranking before the engine fires
- Loss of power or a misfire as load and fuel demand rise
- Engine cutting out and then restarting after a pause
- Whine or buzz from the pump that was not there before
- Fuel weeping from the pump body or its unions
🛠️ Service Notes
- Check the filters and the whole suction side for air leaks before condemning the pump - both give the same symptoms and are far cheaper to put right
- Renew the sealing washers and any unions disturbed during removal
- Prime and bleed the system, then check every joint for leaks with the engine running before the boat is used
📦 Condition
- Genuine Volvo Penta part
- Brand new
- Supplied in original or equivalent packaging
