⚙️ Key Features

• Safety valve
• 0.123 kg
• Listed for four HPCU and TB applications
• A protective device whose operation should be verified rather than assumed

🔌 Function

Opens at its set pressure to relieve the circuit, protecting the system and its components from over-pressure damage.

⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

• Valve venting in normal operation when it should stay shut
• System pressure climbing above normal with no relief
• Weeping or seeping from the valve seat between operations
• Valve found seized, corroded or fouled with debris on removal
• Seat or spring damaged so the valve no longer reseats cleanly

🛠️ Service Notes

• This is a protective device - prove it operates at the correct pressure rather than assuming it works, and never blank, plug or adjust one to cure a symptom
• Depressurise the circuit fully before disturbing the valve
• If it has been relieving in service, find what raised the pressure before fitting a new valve
