⚙️ Key Features

  • Protecting screen from the Cooling System group
  • 1.82 kg - the lightest of the four screens in this sub-group
  • Listed for 28 TAD series engine applications

🔌 Function

Guards the cooling pack and its fan behind a perforated screen, keeping hands and debris out while letting cooling air pass.

⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

  • Buzzing or drumming from the screen at particular engine speeds
  • Mesh dented or pushed in towards the fan
  • Corrosion at the fixings or along a folded edge
  • Mounting holes elongated where the screen has worked loose
  • Fasteners missing after earlier work

🛠️ Service Notes

  • Check the screen stands clear of the fan before running the engine up
  • Four screens sit close together in this sub-group, so order by part number against the engine list rather than by appearance
