🔌 Function

Carries engine oil in a flexible run between two points, absorbing the movement between them that a rigid pipe could not take.

⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

• Oil weeping at a crimped end fitting or a damp trail along the hose
• Oil pressure low or slow to build where the hose is a feed
• Cover cracked, hardened, swollen or chafed through
• Hose kinked or crushed where it has been pushed aside
• Lining found breaking up internally, shedding debris into the oil

🛠️ Service Notes

• Check availability of 23437102 first - that is the current number for this hose
• Renew the sealing washers at the unions and check the oil for debris if the old hose had broken down inside
• Route the new hose on its original clips and clear of hot surfaces
