⚠️ Common Signs of Failure
- Diesel smell, or a wet dirt-collecting film along the hose
- Hose soft and swollen, or hardened and crazed on the outside
- Air drawn in on the suction side, giving hard starting or a hunting idle
- Weeping at the crimped ends or the unions
- Fine cracks showing when the hose is flexed
🛠️ Service Notes
- A failed fuel hose is a fire risk - renew rather than patch, and use only correctly rated hose
