🔌 Function

Driven from the engine, it compresses inlet air to raise charge density at lower engine speeds, with its drive control fed from the vessel's 12 V system.

⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

• Loss of low-speed power and sluggish acceleration away from idle
• Whine, rattle or grinding from the unit
• Drive clutch failing to engage, or engaging with a thump
• Oil weeping from the unit, or belt dust around the drive
• Rotors found scored, or play felt in the bearings

🛠️ Service Notes

• Confirm the system voltage before ordering - the 24 V and 28 V units will not do
• The other 12 V unit, 23118553, covers three engines rather than 13, so check the fitment as well as the voltage
• Check the drive belt, clutch and its supply before condemning the unit
