🔧 Product Description

Genuine Volvo Penta adapter from the Fuel System group, weighing 0.238 kg. A second fuel-system adapter, 22983149, is listed separately in this run, so check the number against the parts list for your engine before ordering.

⚙️ Key Features

  • Fuel System group
  • 0.238 kg
  • One of two fuel-system adapters listed here
  • Distinct from adapter 22983149

🔌 Function

Joins two fuel-system components whose connections do not otherwise match, carrying fuel across the joint without leaking or drawing air.

⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

  • Smell of fuel, or a wet or stained patch at the adapter
  • Weeping from a union or from the adapter body
  • Thread or sealing face found damaged or cross-threaded
  • Hard starting or a misfire where air is being drawn in on the suction side
  • Corrosion or a hard deposit built up around the joint

🛠️ Service Notes

  • Renew the sealing washers or O-rings at both ends rather than reusing them
  • A fuel leak in an engine compartment is a fire risk - bleed the system and check every disturbed joint with the engine running before the boat is used

📦 Condition

  • Genuine Volvo Penta part
  • Brand new
  • Supplied in original or equivalent packaging
