🔌 Function

Isolates the water flow through the cooling circuit with a quarter turn of the handle, so the system can be shut off for servicing.

  • Handle stiff or immovable after a season unused
  • Weeping around the stem when the handle is worked
  • Valve not shutting fully, with water still passing when closed
  • Ball and seats found pitted, scaled or corroded on strip-down
