• Keep each liner with its own bore position once measured, and fit the O-rings in the order and orientation specified, lubricated as the manual directs
• Fit the liners with an appropriate press or drawing arrangement so they go in square, never by hammering
• Protect the finished bores from rust and knocks until the pistons go in, and never run a new liner against worn or reused rings
