⚙️ Key Features

  • Camshaft from the Engine group
  • 48.0 kg

🔌 Function

Carries the lobes that open the valves in sequence, setting the timing and lift of every inlet and exhaust event in the engine.

⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

  • Ticking or heavy tapping from the valve gear
  • Rough running or lost power across the range with valve clearances correct
  • Metal debris in the oil and filter
  • Lobe found flattened, pitted or scuffed on strip-down
  • Journals worn or scored, with matching wear on the followers

🛠️ Service Notes
