🔌 Function

Carries compressed air from the turbocharger through the charge air cooler and on to the inlet, so the pipe sees full boost pressure and charge temperature.

⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

• Whistle or hiss under load and a sudden drop in power
• Black smoke and a boost pressure fault code
• Oily film or soot at a joint face where charge has been escaping
• Pipe found cracked at a weld or bracket boss
• Clamps or rubber sleeves found perished, split or slipped

🛠️ Service Notes

• The named engine range is the selection detail - confirm the designation on the engine plate before ordering
• Renew the sleeves and clamps with the pipe and check the spigots for corrosion
• Do not force the pipe into place; a strained joint will crack at the weld
