🔌 Function

⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

  • System dead or dropping out intermittently
  • Fault code reporting a lost or unresponsive control unit
  • Function working only when cold, or only after a power cycle
  • Water tracks, salt or corrosion inside the housing or on the connector
  • Burnt smell or discoloured pins at the connector on strip-down

🛠️ Service Notes

  • Check the supply, earth and bus wiring at the connector before condemning the unit - a wiring fault presents identically
  • Some control units need configuring after fitting, so confirm what the installation requires before the boat is handed back
