⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

• Coolant temperature climbing under load with a clean radiator
• Rattle, drone or a new vibration from the front of the engine
• A visible crack at the root of a blade or at the spider rivets
• A chunk missing from a blade tip, or the blade tips scuffing the cowl
• Alternator or coolant pump bearings failing early from the imbalance

🛠️ Service Notes

• Never straighten or trim a damaged blade - the imbalance destroys the pump and alternator bearings, so renew the fan
• Fan direction matters: this is a pusher, and fitting a puller in its place moves the air the wrong way
• Check belt tension and the drive pulley at the same time
