🔧 Product Description

Genuine Volvo Penta shaft coupling weighing 0.13 kg, listed for four HPCU and TB applications. Three parts in this group share that weight, so order by part number.

🚤 Compatibility

Typically suits:

  • Volvo Penta HPCU-A
  • Volvo Penta TB66-A
  • Volvo Penta TB66-150-A
  • Volvo Penta HPCU-B
  • Engine Family: HPCU, TB

⚙️ Key Features

  • 0.13 kg
  • Listed for four HPCU and TB applications
  • Three parts in this group share that weight, so order by part number

🔌 Function

Joins two shafts so drive passes between them, taking up the small misalignment that always exists between separately mounted units.

⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

  • A knock or clunk each time load comes on or reverses
  • Vibration that appears under load and disappears on shutdown
  • Rotational play felt when one shaft is turned against the other
  • Splines or drive dogs found rounded and polished
  • The flexible element cracked, hardened or crumbling

🛠️ Service Notes

  • Check and correct the alignment of the two units before fitting a new coupling - a coupling that has failed once will fail again on the same misalignment
  • Parts 23390070 and 23390072 share this weight, so order by part number rather than by feel

📦 Condition

  • Genuine Volvo Penta part
  • Brand new
  • Supplied in original or equivalent packaging
