⚙️ Key Features

• 0.50 mm thick
• 0.009 kg
• Listed for 146 applications across D, TD, AQD, TMD, TWD and TID series engines
• Consolidates earlier references 847520 and 6603933
• Selected by measured thickness rather than by engine

🔌 Function

Sets a clearance or a preload in the fuel system assembly by making up a measured gap, so the parts either side finish in their correct relative position.

⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

• Setting drifting out of specification after a rebuild
• Washer found dished, bright or fretted where it bears
• Measured stack height no longer matching the figure it was built to
• Difficulty getting a repeatable reading when the assembly is set up

🛠️ Service Notes

• Measure the gap and select the thickness that suits - fitting the 0.50 mm washer without measuring defeats the purpose of an adjusting washer
• Fit the washer square and clean; grit or burrs under it will change the setting
• Check the seat and the mating face for wear before selecting a thickness
