⚙️ Key Features

🔌 Function
Transmits drive to the unit it serves and releases it when drive is not wanted, so the unit is not turned continuously by the engine.
⚠️ Common Signs of Failure
- Squeal, chatter or a rattle from the accessory drive that changes with speed
- The driven unit failing to turn, or turning when it should be released
- Belt glazing, black dust or a belt that runs hot at the pulley
- Rumble or roughness from the bearing when the pulley is turned by hand with the belt off
- Friction face found glazed, scored or worn on strip-down
🛠️ Service Notes
- Check the belt, its tension and the electrical feed to the clutch before condemning the unit
- Because the superseded number was catalogued as a pulley, confirm what is fitted before ordering - the two are not the same item
- Order by part number: the clutches in this section are separated by grams, and weight cannot identify them
