🔧 Product Description

Genuine Volvo Penta left front engine bracket, listed for three TAD series engine applications. Mounting brackets are handed, so the side and position are the selection detail.

🚤 Compatibility

Typically suits:

  • Volvo Penta TAD841-43GE
  • Volvo Penta TAD851-53GE
  • Volvo Penta TAD840GE-B
  • Engine Family: TAD

⚙️ Key Features

  • Left front engine bracket
  • Listed for three TAD series engine applications
  • Handed - the side and the front position are the selection detail
  • Right front counterpart is 23408903

🔌 Function

Carries the front left corner of the engine's weight into its mounting, holding the engine at the correct height and angle in the installation.

⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

  • Extra vibration through the structure, worst at particular engine speeds
  • Knock or movement felt at the front of the engine when load comes on
  • Cracks starting beside a fixing hole or at a bend in the bracket
  • Bolt holes fretted or elongated and the fixings working loose
  • Engine alignment found out when checked against the drive line

🛠️ Service Notes

  • Confirm the hand before ordering - 23408903 is the right front bracket and the two are not interchangeable
  • Support the engine before the bracket is removed, and re-check alignment once the new one is in
  • Renew the fixings if the holes have fretted

📦 Condition

  • Genuine Volvo Penta part
  • Brand new
  • Supplied in original or equivalent packaging
