Provides the matched counter-rotating pair that converts the pod drive's torque into thrust, the front and rear propellers working together so the rear recovers the swirl left by the front.

• Loss of top speed, or the engine unable to reach its rated maximum revolutions
• Blade edges nicked, bent or torn back from a strike
• Blades pitted, cratered or eaten away by cavitation and corrosion
