🔌 Function

Carries the weight of inlet or exhaust system hardware and holds it in alignment against engine vibration and the thermal movement of hot pipework.

⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

• Exhaust rumble or knocking that changes with load
• The supported component sagging, or joints pulled out of line
• Exhaust leak or soot streaking at a nearby joint
• Fasteners loose or missing at the bracket
• Fatigue cracking around the mounting holes, found on strip-down

🛠️ Service Notes

• Read the engine serial number before ordering - this bracket is listed only from 2016134054 onwards
• At over eleven kilos it needs supporting while the fixings are started
• Fit loosely, align the pipework, then tighten, so the bracket is not forcing a joint apart
