• Engine Family: TWD

⚙️ Key Features

• Pressure sensor from the Fuel System group
• 0.079 kg
• Consolidates three earlier references - 22192470, 22199054 and 22720179 - catalogued against wiring harness and valve cover assemblies
• Listed for one TWD series engine application

🔌 Function

Measures the pressure in its part of the fuel system and reports it to the control system, which uses the reading to set fuelling and to protect the engine if pressure goes out of range.

⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

• Fuel pressure fault stored and a warning lamp at the helm
• Engine running rough, down on power or dropping to a limp mode
• Hard starting or a stall with no obvious mechanical cause
• Diesel weeping from the sensor's sealing face
• Corroded connector pins or a fuel-soaked plug found on removal

🛠️ Service Notes

• Compare the sensor's reading against a mechanical gauge before condemning it - a genuine low pressure from filters or the lift pump reads the same way
• Renew the sealing washer or O-ring and torque to the manual figure; a fuel system joint is not one to guess at
• Three older references now land on this one sensor, so any of them ordered will come through as this part
