⚙️ Key Features

• 1.052 kg

• The heavier of the near pair with 23499657 at 0.624 kg

🔌 Function

Carries a component on the inlet or exhaust side of the engine, taking its weight and holding it against vibration so the pipework joints stay unloaded.

⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

• Rattle or drumming from the inlet or exhaust side at particular engine speeds
• Cracks around the fixing holes or at a weld
• Bolts found slack or sheared at a service
• Pipework out of line, so a joint will not pull up square
• Fixing holes found worn oval on removal

🛠️ Service Notes

• The lighter bracket 23499657 covers the same application count, so confirm the part number before ordering
• Check the component the bracket carries for damage caused while the bracket was broken
