🔌 Function

Restores the factory finish on chips and scratches, sealing bare metal against corrosion in the salt-laden air of an engine space or deck.

⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

  • Nozzle blocked or spitting instead of laying an even fan
  • Can rattling weakly or not at all, showing the pigment has settled or dried out
  • Finish drying patchy, cloudy or a visibly different white to the panel around it
  • Paint lifting or peeling where it was laid over grease, rust or an unkeyed surface
  • Rust bleeding back through a repair that was not taken back to clean metal

🛠️ Service Notes

  • Shake thoroughly and test the spray on scrap before touching the panel
  • Prepare back to sound, dry, degreased metal - paint over rust lifts within a season
  • Compare the colour against the existing finish first; weathered paint will not be an exact match to fresh 4007
