⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

  • Coolant dripping from the weep hole beneath the pump
  • Rumbling, whining or grinding from the front of the engine
  • Coolant temperature climbing under sustained load
  • Shaft rock or play felt at the pulley with the belt slackened
  • Impeller found eroded, corroded or loose on the shaft during strip-down

🛠️ Service Notes

  • Pump unit 23552788 is within 60 grams of this one but covers only five engines, so check the fitment list rather than trusting the weight
  • Renew the coolant and the pump gaskets or O-rings at the same fitting, and check the belt and tensioner while access is open
