- Intermittent warning lamps or fault codes that come and go with vibration or when a section is moved
- Engine cutting out or refusing to start with no other cause found
- Green or white corrosion inside a connector, or a connector that will not lock
- Chafed insulation where the loom crosses a bracket or sharp edge
- Wires found pulled from their terminals or the outer sheath split by heat
🛠️ Service Notes
- Check the individual connector and its pins before condemning the whole harness - most faults are a single corroded or backed-out terminal
- Photograph the routing and clip positions before removal so the new loom is supported the same way and does not chafe
