🔧 Product Description

Genuine Volvo Penta puller for the inner DPI universal joint, weighing 0.100 kg. It is the inner counterpart to puller 23574987 - the position is what distinguishes them.

⚙️ Key Features

  • Puller for the inner DPI universal joint
  • 0.100 kg
  • A workshop tool, so it carries no engine fitment list
  • The counterpart to outer-joint puller 23574987 - the joint position is what distinguishes them

🔌 Function

Draws the inner universal joint off its shaft under controlled load, so the joint comes away without damaging the shaft or the bearing surfaces.

⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

  • Jaws or legs opening under load rather than gripping
  • Centre screw thread galled, stiff or stripped
  • Jaw tips deformed from slipping
  • Rust or seizure from damp storage between jobs

🛠️ Service Notes

  • Bought against the DPI drive being worked on, not against an engine application
  • Puller 23574987 covers the outer joint - order by position rather than by name

📦 Condition

  • Genuine Volvo Penta part
  • Brand new
  • Supplied in original or equivalent packaging
