Volvo Penta's range of instruments for non-EVC diesel and gasoline engines offers a modern appearance and a high level of readability. The gauges are available in 85 mm and 52 mm and are designed to fit previous instrument panels for Volvo Penta non-EVC engines. Complete instrument panel kits are also available. The main station kit is available in two versions, 12 V and 24 V, and measures 250 x 190 mm. Add a 4000 rpm or 6000 rpm tachometer for a complete installation. This is the 24V version.

🔌 Function

Gives the main helm position a complete instrument panel with gauges, alarm display and starter switch, so the engine can be started and monitored from the primary station.

⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

• Gauges dead, sticking or reading erratically
• Warning lamps failing to prove at key-on
• Panel lighting dim, flickering or out
• Alarm buzzer not sounding when a fault is active
• Corrosion on the connectors or behind the bezel from water ingress

🛠️ Service Notes

• This is the 24 V kit and carries the 18-32 V voltmeter; the 12 V kit 23577077 is otherwise the same panel and is within grams of it, so confirm the system voltage and order by part number
• A tachometer is not included — add the 4000 rpm or 6000 rpm instrument
• Check supply, earth and sender before replacing the panel — several gauges misreading together usually means the earth, not the gauges
• A 4000 rpm or 6000 rpm tachometer is ordered separately for a complete installation - it is not part of this panel kit
• The gauges in this range are designed to fit Volvo Penta instrument panels; where a gauge goes into a panel from outside this range the panel hole diameter may need modifying to suit
• The tachometer is not included - add a 4000 rpm or 6000 rpm unit
• Match the system voltage: 23577077 is the 12 V kit
• Cover plate 858648 covers the tachometer opening where no tachometer is fitted
